A spectacular co-owned Buhund!

A spectacular co-owned Buhund!

We are THRILLED to announce that another very special KYON co-owned buhund – VIKI- is now a Canadian champion – a feat she has achieved with ease! She is now formally known as *Can. CHAMPION Kyon’s en Perle Viking Jente*.
We are so BLESSED by owners who allow us rights to some of our very special girls. At KYON we are at the limit with how many dogs we can keep and also do full justice with the individual attention they all deserve, but thankfully we have such dedicated pet-owners, who graciously have allowed us to share their dogs with us ❤ . We work together in an attempt to save this very special ancient breed, which sadly is nearing extinction. This extended Kyon family is indeed an awesome group of passionate dog-loving people!
If YOU think you might be interested in such a relationship for a promising puppy from an upcoming litter , please contact Karin- either via FB messenger or at kklouman@kyonkennels.com.
VIKI is Artur Liwski’s & Anna Nycz’s much beloved family pet- and we are so grateful that we have been able borrow her for the odd dog-show where she has proudly flown the Kyon Flag. She otherwise lives out her life with her best buddy, the gorgeous Amadeus – a Kyon Golden Retriever. Buhunds and Golden Retrievers are the perfect match!
Like ALL our Kyon-bred buhund champions, Viki en route to her title achieved placement in a very strong herding group – and she finished her championship at the largest show of the year ; taking majors both days and also BOB.
Always Handled by Ashley Martins, Viki just loves to show and is an enthusiastically happy girl in the ring. ❤
Viki’s sire is OLA ( Am/Can ch Fabrjas Marquis de Lafayette O’Kyon) and her dam is SYNNE ( BPIG ch Kyon’s Synne Perledatter) .
We are looking forward to seeing what VIKI will eventually contribute to our Kyon breeding program (when that time hopefully comes) as Viki exemplifies correct type for the breed.
