As we celebrated the Norwegian Soccer team’s amazing success in this year’s Soccer World Cup, we named these puppies accordingly, in honour of the talented Norwegian players. 
And as we were with the Norwegian team, we are DELIGHTED with these puppies!

the Norwegian Buhund is an ancient Nordic herding dog, predating Viking times – and this breed is sadly nearing extinction.
At Kyon we have -for many decades- been trying to preserve this part of our own cultural heritage. This breed is amazingly intelligent- highly trainable- and super sweet family-pets. They excel in the show-ring as well in the performance field ( be it agility , rally, obedience, scenting, tracking or as natural instinctual herding dogs). They also are known as amazing Therapy & Service dogs -as well as hearing-alert dogs and medical-alert dogs… And our KYON Norwegian Buhunds have done it ALL – with great success – for many decades . This is in good part due to the dedication of our many fabulous Buhund owners!
