Proud of our 2023 Buhund puppies!
We are so happy with last year’s Kyon Buhund puppies- and our thanks go out to their dedicated owners, who are doing so many phenomenal things with their promising youngsters. The future is very bright for Kyon Buhunds with such wonderful owners!
And frankly, we are equally happy with our wonderful pet homes, where we rest assured that our ‘babies’ are deeply loved. Our breed is in good hands with our owners who are making sure their dogs are excellent representatives of this ancient and brilliant breed.
We thank you all for all your hard work and ongoing love for your pups!
I also want to give a ‘shout out’ to John Mairs at Tamsu Learning Center, where I train all my Buhund puppies in puppy-manners classes, in scenting and Rally 
ARIA (Kyon’s Northern Reflections of Valkyries) is owned, trained, loved and handled by Kimberly Pennie. She has achieved several best baby puppy and puppy herding group wins. Aria is also training for scenting conservation work .We are so excited about this puppy and her potential! (bred by Elise Barr-Klouman)
UNI (CH Kyon Uno’s Lasting Legacy) achieved her championship in 2 short weekends, taking BOB from the junior puppy class, defeating several adults and specials- and also garnering Puppy groups and herding group placements . UNI is now training in scenting with Karin and is getting ready for her first trials this coming months! We are in love with this amazingly talented puppy girl. Handled in the show-ring by breeder-owner Karin, Rebecca McAuley and Colin Brownlee.
LARS (CH Kyon’s Blackcombe Lekende Lars) achieved his championship from the junior puppy class defeating several adults for multiple majors- he also achieved several Best baby puppy herding group wins. Lars is currently training in Rally obedience with Karin while he is waiting to go across the pond to his owner , our good friend Roberta Crouch. handled in the show-ring by breeder Karin, Colin Brownlee ( and team!) , Rebecca McAuley and Melissa Leishman.
BJØRK (Kyon’s Bjørk Tulladatter) won her first points in the AKC show- ring, from the junior puppy class. We are so very pleased for her owner Susanna Björnson- and we are very excited to see what the future holds for this stylish youngster! Mostly owner handled by Susanna Björnson , but also her friend , professional handler Jean Gauchat.
SUNNA (Kyon’s Lille Lekende Sunniva) won a major WB , the very first time in the show ring, defeating several adults, all from the junior puppy class. owner-breeder handled by Karin and also Ella Anderson. We are so very excited about this exuberant puppy girl and cannot wait to see what the future holds! Sunna is also currently training in puppy obedience with Karin.
