We are proud to announce that our ELSA is now a brand new Canadian Champion- in the blink of an eye. Elsa is sweet and gentle , yet she sparkles with enthusiastic desire to do whatever you ask of her. Loosing her dam, our beloved DIAMOND ( Kyon’s Diamond Lil ) – from sudden post-operative complications (following a c-section) was one of the most shocking and devastating events we have ever experienced, in over 40 years of breeding Golden Retrievers . Thank heavens all of Diamond’s 7 pups survived- sired by our handsome ‘Lennie’ ( Ch Brevmac Hallelujah for Kyon). Although orphaned at 1 day of age, they were lovingly raised by 3 foster-moms (one buhund at Kyon, and two golden dams elsewhere ) . To help heal our broken hearts we kept pick girl ELSA- aka ‘Kyon’s Let it Snow’… and so we thankfully still have a piece of Diamond with us… and we are thrilled to announce that she will be staying forever now that she has also gotten her clearances . This girl is ‘sunshine personified’ … and she truly reminds us- in both character and looks – of her wonderful mother…. And so the circle of life continues at Kyon!
