Buhund pups are always dark grey at birth and look strikingly much like wolf-cubs (the original dog), but by 10-12 weeks they have gone through quite the change and will look like a strikingly eye-catching domesticated dog of a clear wheaten (although black is also allowed). Our dogs range from very light creamish-wheaten to rich golden-wheat.
