Peik was the first Norwegian Buhund to get his Canadian championship at the tender age of 13 months with a group second. He had a white collar and was a medium clear wheaten in colour. An extremely potent sire, he passed on his beautiful structure and type. Peik was a laid-back Buhund, but he still loved to work and had a strong, focused desire to please. He left a significant mark on the breed in Canada; was the sire of many herding dogs, master agility workers and obedience trial champions, as well as numerous show champions.
